If you break ONE hole in a long line of iron bars, the zombies will funnel through it-put a blade trap there. Once that's up, we run a second fence about 6 squares PAST the iron bars.īlade traps go up on the corners of the iton bar barricade, as well as the front driveway. Zombies just get stuck on them.īetweent the walls and iron bars (about 9 squares from the base) we run an electric fence. Think of them like "knee-knockers" on a navy ship. Zombies hang up on them, allowing you to sit on roof, take time, and shoot them. Start with a row of iron bars about (12 squares from the base walls). Once that's up, we move on to the electrics. That handles the majority of screamers while you run forges 24-7. We do a standard square base with a "shark cage" near the front door.įor resource reasons we typically start off with flagstone blocks, then upgrade to rebar/concrete when we can.Įxterior of wall gets 2-5 rows of the cheaper wooded spikes. Finalize the whole thing with concrete walls and ramps over time. I usually put the bridge upside down, that way you don't have any gaps on the surface. Finally simply a drawbridge ontop so i can bring my minibike in. Then i dig a 4 wide tunnel a few blocks away from the base and then up in an angle. □ Usually 7 blocks deep (in fact 6,one for the floor). ![]() You know, where all the electrical stuff goes, the wiring, from where i can repair my spikes and so on. ![]() :) Even though my horde bases are on the surface, i always have an underground area. Having an inside pole works, at least if they break one they still can't get through. underground entrance with a drawbridge? How do you make that happen? :) For later game i make two rows of poles and blade traps all around the perimeter walls Originally posted by Andi:Yay another nice Video! Thank you! □ i also use the horizontal poles and underground entrances with or without a drawbridge.
